Universal Hydraulic Bale Clamp

The Cashels Universal Hydraulic Bale Clamp has been developed mainly for handling wrapped rectangular and round bales of silage. With a clamping range from 750mm to 2050mm, the Bale Clamp can handle various bale types and sizes without causing damage to the bale film. The Bale Clamp is also suitable for handling unwrapped bales of straw, haylage, hay and waste materials. Larger model available.

Smooth movement and longevity of the telescopic mechanism is guaranteed by the use of self-lubricating wear pads. The robust construction of the clamping arms in conjunction with the heavy-duty cylinders and built-in check valves ensures ample and secure clamping force when loading and transporting the various bale types. Cashels Universal Bale Clamp is designed to facilitate various bolt-on linkage options for tractor loaders and farm loaders.

Features:

Unique, robustly constructed frame design with bolt-on clamping arms
Heavy-duty cylinders with built-in check valves • Maintenance free, self-lubricating wear pads
Facilitates various bolt-on linkage options
Bolt-on bale extension (optional)
Various linkage options available

Hydraulic Bale Grab

The Hydraulic Bale Grab from Cashels has been developed for the stacking, handling and transport of round bales of silage, straw and haylage. The unique curved design of the Cashels Bale Grab guarantees that the bale is cradled towards the main frame and held securely by the two paddles. This ensures that both weight and pressure are evenly distributed across the unit while in use. When stacking bales, either of the two paddles can be locked in position, allowing the other to do all the movement. This feature, together with the slimline, robust square tube used in the paddles, ensures that bales can be stacked tightly together without compromise to bale integrity.
Features:

Heavy-duty hydraulic ram with check valve
Slimline, robust paddles manufactured from square tube
Locking paddles for precise handling in confined spaces
Unique curved design to maintain bale integrity while also providing maximum strength and durability to the unit

Hydraulic Vari-Width

The Cashels Vari-Width Bale Handler has been designed to handle, transport and stack both 4’ (1220mm) and 5’ (1525mm) wrapped round bales. The heavy-duty, robust construction is designed with the contractor and users of farm/industrial loaders in mind. Desinged to be used on either the front or rear 3-Point Linkage of tractors as well as on front loaders – from skid steer to tractor to telehandlers. With this in mind, the unit comes fitted with a combination 3-Point Linkage/Euro linkage as standard to cater for the majority of users. Other linkage options are available on request.

Features

Heavy duty construction throughout with high quality paint finish
43” (1100mm) CAT 2 stone fork tines with rotating tubes to ensure no film damage when handling bales
Hydraulic hoses/fittings supplied as standard to suit customer requirements

Double Bale Handlers

Double Bale Handlers
Twice as productive. Zero film damage.

Cashels Double Bale Handlers overcome the problem many double handlers on the market currently have. When the first bale is picked, how do you pick the second one without tearing the film? You could have them positioned side by side after wrapping but this wastes valuable time. Instead, Cashels Double Bale Handlers allow you to pick one bale from anywhere in the field then comfortably pick the second one without the first even touching the ground. We’ve done this with two very different models:
Pick & Stack Double Bale Handler
Pick them. Transport them. Stack them. Two at a time.

Cashels Pick & Stack Double Bale Handler has been developed to cater for the transport and stacking of two 4 foot wrapped bales without damage to film. This new rugged design combines two existing Cashels designs, the Pick & Stack single frame and Ducks Foot Bale Handler, into one.
This gives the farmer/contractor a new double bale handler solution that minimises the time from field to storage – without compromise to bale integrity – but critically also allows bales to be stacked two-high at the chosen storage destination.
The first round bale can be picked using either side of the bale handler. This bale is raised to give sufficient ground clearance to collect the second bale on the empty side.  When the second bale has been collected, both bales are moved into position for transport.  At storage destination, bales can be stacked as required – up to two high. All this can be achieved without leaving the tractor seat.

Vari-Width Double Bale Handler
Two bales, side by side.

The Cashels Hydraulic Vari-Width Double Bale Handler has been developed to cater for the transport of two 4 foot wrapped bales without damage to film.  This new innovative design enables the farmer/contractor to minimise the time from field to storage, without compromise to bale integrity.

Ducks Foot Double Bale Handler

The Cashels Ducks Foot Double Bale Handler has been developed to cater for the transport of two 4 foot wrapped bales without damage to film. The rugged design is based on Cashels’ time-proven Ducks Foot bale handling concept. The Ducks Foot paddles which rotate on stone fork tines can handle sagged/misshapen bales without causing damage to bale film. The Ducks Foot concept also allows the user to stand bales on their end at the storage area. This is achieved by simply dropping the bale handler to the ground, driving forward approximately 3⁄4 of the length of the bale and then raising the lift arms. As the lift arms are raised the paddles rotate and the bales will stand on their ends without any damage to bale film. The Ducks Foot paddles can be removed, allowing the unit to be used as a double spike for handling straw, haylage, hay and mature silage bales.
